Job Description
- Candidates will have to develop plans to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals. Candidates will also process the strategies and employed required to meet service commitments.
- Candidates will have to promote and implement workplace safety and health programs for their work unit.
- Candidates will also direct, coach, and provide required guidance and leadership to employees, also promoting a respectful environment in the workplace.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must have completed a high school diploma or provincial equivalent to it.
- Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience with team management work and 2 years experience working with a unionized environment.
- Candidates will have to control and update data for the reporting system to ensure all plant data requirements are met.
- Communicates frequently with the previous and post-shift supervisor. Candidates will provide a brief “recap” of key activities performed and discuss any anomalies occurring during the time of shift.
- Candidates will also have to promptly respond to equipment failures.
