Job DescriptionÂ
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to maintain an inventory system and records, as well as to plan or maintain warehouse/storage space.
Job requirementÂ
- Candidates must have completed secondary school according to provincial standards to be eligible for this post.Â
- Candidates must be able to use various computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Â
- They must have experience working with small engines and also be appointed to maintain equipment in a state of readiness.
- Candidates must have material Management and planning, Procurement and Inventory Control to be eligible for this post.Â
- Candidates must have equipment maintenance, Contribute and work within a team environment to be eligible for this post.Â
- Candidates must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to be eligible for this post.Â
- Candidates must be able to manage conflicting priorities, multitask and work under time-sensitive conditions to be eligible for this post.Â
- Candidates must work with minimal supervision and provide comprehensive service to the public and/or clients.
- Candidates must be able to lift to 23kg without the use of lifting aids and ensure willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform to be eligible for this post.Â
- They must ensure the willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays.Â
- Candidates must ensure the maintenance of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License to be eligible for this post.
Work settingÂ
- They must be willing to be deployed to other National incidents and maintain Reliability Status to be eligible for this post.
