Job Description
- The Solutions Design IT Specialist role is a full time hybrid with TD Securities, basically you’ll be working in person and remotely depending.
- This position centers around designing and bringing to life enterprise payment technology solutions, with modern software engineering habits and all.
- You’ll craft end to end solution designs, support application development too , and also review the technical deliverables that come out of the work.
- On top of that you’ll help deliver secure, scalable payment platforms, the kind that can actually handle real world traffic.
Responsibilities
- Design and document end-to-end technical solutions for enterprise payment platforms, including the related technical artifacts.
- Build and support Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs, including the integration points.
- Perform design reviews, code reviews, and help with production support when incidents pop up.
- Coach colleagues, while encouraging Agile approaches and stronger software development best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Java (J2EE/Java 8) development and solution design experience, basically.
- Responsible for dealing with databases.
- Need experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, as well as Spring Security.
- Must have 5+ years of hands-on work building RESTful APIs.
