Pizza Hut based in Sechelt, BC, is looking for candidates for the position of Shift Manager – Fast Food Restaurant with 2 vacancies. Job description

  • The candidate will be required to supervise staff who prepare and portion food.
  • The candidate will be required to co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare and submit reports.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records of stock.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records of repairs.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records of sales.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain records of wastage.
  • The candidate will be required to establish work schedules.
  • The candidate will be required to estimate ingredients and supplies.
  • The candidate will be required to order ingredients and supplies.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure food service.
  • The candidate will be required to ensure quality control.
  • The candidate will be required to train staff in job duties.
  • The candidate will be required to train workers in sanitation procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to train workers in safety procedures.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise food service counter attendants.
  • The candidate will be required to supervise food preparers.
  • The work site environment is hot.

Requirements

  • The candidate requires Secondary (high) school graduation certificate for this job.
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • The candidate should have a bondable done.
  • The candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • The candidate should also be dependable.
  • The candidate should also be able to manage tight deadlines.
  • The candidate should also be able to work under pressure.
  • The candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and hence should be comfortable with it.
  • The candidate should be a team player.
  • The candidate should also show flexibility.

  • The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
