Job description
- Candidates must carry out a variety of cleaning duties, such as, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and washing of walls in designated areas, as assigned.
- They must monitor hotel property and grounds, including inspecting the rooms, building and grounds for hazards.
- They must report maintenance concerns, security breaches or risks to appropriate authorities.
- They must perform minor maintenance and repairs including such tasks as hanging drapes and blinds, changing light bulbs, replacing door stops, unplugging toilets.
- They must report maintenance requirements and repairs and turns in lost and found items to the supervisor.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have undergone High school graduation
- They should have a minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- They should have the willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own.
- They must have a Building Service Worker Certificate.
Work setting
- Candidates must have housekeeping experience working in hotels.
