Job Description
- Service Workshop Supervisors lead technician teams and support service center operations at Tesla in Montreal.
- This is a full time leadership role within Tesla’s Vehicle Service division.
- The position focuses on workshop productivity, technician support and customer service quality.
- Staff members work in a fast moving service center environment with repair teams and management staff.
- The role includes managing flow of work, supporting inventory and improving workshop processes.
- Team members may work flexible hours including overtime and weekends when required.
Responsibilities
- Lead, guide and support technician teams to meet service goals.
- Maintain workshop records, inventories and smooth workflow activities.
- Review and improve workshop standards with service technicians and service center teams.
- Work with service managers and partners to set targets for quality, speed and costs.
- Make sure workshop procedures and engineering standards remain updated and accurate.
- Monitor staff compliance with safety rules and service center safety programs.
- Provide daily updates and important service center information to team members.
- Manage employee work routines and help resolve technical and personnel issues.
- Conduct one on one meetings with team members to support professional growth and training reviews.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the service manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work background is preferred.
- Associate degree or equivalent education is considered an asset.
- Work background in leading teams within a service focused industry is preferred. Automotive work background is not required.
- One to three years of leadership or industrial supervision work background is preferred.
- Can manage deadlines, service quality targets and multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent interaction skills and time management skills are required.
- Can work with customers, staff members and internal teams professionally.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
Can work flexible hours including weekday and weekend overtime. - Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must support projects across Canadian provinces and communicate regularly in English with staff and clients outside Quebec.
- Strong understanding of Tesla workplace standards and ethical work practices is preferred.
