Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for leading problem definition in partnership with Product Management.
- The candidate will be responsible for participating in, creating, and facilitating collaborative ideation sessions with cross-functional partners, educators, and leadership.
- The candidate will be responsible for clearly communicating and advocating a strategic point of view using strong design rationale to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, while remaining open to feedback.
- The candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering presentations for leadership-level stakeholders.
- The candidate will be responsible for creating deliverables that communicate problems and solutions to senior stakeholders using appropriate tools such as wireframes, information architecture, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and final design assets.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in product design or user experience design for iOS apps, preferably in retail, ecommerce, omni-channel, or adjacent industries.
- The candidate must have advanced skills in User-Centered Design methodologies, including creating use case diagrams, journey maps, mental models, mock-ups, and prototypes at varying fidelity levels, along with UI design and mobile accessibility standards.
- The candidate must have a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process.
- The candidate must have a strong sense of visual design.
- The candidate must have the ability to drive results in a collaborative environment.
- The candidate must have strong presentation skills to share work with credibility, clarity, and confidence.
- The candidate must have facilitation skills that help groups build clarity and alignment.
- The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
