Job Description

  • A senior technology manager is a leadership role for Global Infrastructure program delivery.
  • This role sits inside the Global Network & Infrastructure team.
  • The leader will be held responsible for influencing and delivering the systems that form the foundation for lululemon’s applications and offices around the world.
  • Key areas of responsibility will include global networks, authentication services, device management, and the configuration of office systems.
  • The leader will also manage video surveillance and access-control service areas for physical security.
  • The manager is expected to work across regions and teams to coordinate the infrastructure work globally.
  • There is an emphasis on the strategic leadership and program delivery, while focusing on how to build these infrastructures to better support lululemon’s growing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key technology leader driving enterprise-level, global infrastructure programs, ensuring strategic alignment across business, Tech Foundations, Tech PMO, and leadership teams.
  • Oversee capital programs ($12–20M) and operational programs ($3–5M), managing vendors, evolving standards, and ensuring efficient program execution.
  • Lead design and engineering programs for core infrastructure platforms using agile practices, including network connectivity, authentication and directory services, video surveillance, device management for 60,000+ devices, and Office 365 configurations.
  • Manage 200–500 annual site delivery projects through waterfall methodologies, covering new office/store/DC setups, remodels, and large-scale device refresh programs.
  • Direct management of office hardware (laptops, monitors, printers, meeting room technologies) from end-to-end, in collaboration with asset management, vendor management, procurement, depot, repair, and recycling.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a team of 20-25 program and project managers; implement and encourage an inclusive, collaborative, high-performance culture and delivery practice.
  • Ensure programs/projects meet business functions, provide strategic view of future needs; ensure visibility of technology risk to the organization and future opportunity.
  • Act as a conduit between Tech Foundations and the TPMO to meet standards; contribute to enterprise business reviews; manage internal governance processes (MBR).
  • Manage vendor performance by managing schedules to monitor contractual & SLA compliance; support RFI/RFP cycles to compare competitive pricing, service, and quality.
  • Lead, at the department level, the program reporting processes; steward data collection processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness during program & project reporting; ensure the reporting initiatives support transparency, forecasting, and real-time decision-making.
  • Perform financial steward oversight, risk management, and value realization management over the portfolio; ensure that projects have sufficient funding, program/project OKRs are defined, clear, and measured .
  • Establish and manage portfolio-level integration and dependencies across infrastructure teams and cross-discipline partners, embedding into backlogs as appropriate.
  • Drive stakeholder management across Infrastructure and Tech Foundations portfolios, ensuring strong communication and alignment.
  • Support annual planning processes by preparing accurate OPP submissions and future-focused planning inputs.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, learning, inclusion, and high performance within the infrastructure program delivery organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in the information technology field.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering and supporting technology that enables key business priorities, including 5+ years leading teams across multiple locations
  • Preferred experience leading teams in project/portfolio management, software license management, or network circuit management.
  • Experience managing large, complex programs across global, fast-paced environments; experience in the retail sector would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience of building and leading high performing teams while achieving a balance between modernization and operation delivery.
  • Outstanding stake and vendor management skills for achieving results and building strategic partnerships.
  • Experience managing a budget of capital/operating expense budgets greater than $5M and driving spend efficiencies.
