Job Description
Leadership & Team Management
- The candidate will lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts responsible for facilitating P&C process design and ongoing process optimization.
- The candidate must promote continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration throughout daily operations and team activities.
- The candidate will lead the team’s engagement and interaction model with COE business process owners, ensuring a strong partnership and consultative model.
Process Design & Optimization
- The candidate will be responsible for consulting with People & Culture (P&C) Centres of Excellence (COEs) and business process owners to identify, prioritize, and optimize key business processes.
- The candidate will develop the P&C process optimization playbook, including best practices, standards, and tools for current-state process mapping, identifying needs and opportunities, facilitating future-state process design, and confirming business requirements.
- The candidate must evaluate existing P&C processes and recommend improvements that promote consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
- The candidate will ensure that P&C processes meet compliance, risk, and audit requirements across jurisdictions.
- The candidate will evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, RPA, and chatbots, for applicability in HR processes and identify opportunities for automation and platform enablement.
- The candidate will ensure that process improvements align with business objectives, P&C strategic priorities, the P&C service delivery model, and employee experience expectations.
- The candidate must work closely with P&C Platforms and Technology teams to support the implementation of optimized process solutions.
- The candidate will build strong relationships with COEs and business process owners to influence the process optimization roadmap and identify pain points and improvement opportunities across workforce segments and geographies.
- The candidate will support the identification and enrolment of key stakeholders in process optimization efforts.
- The candidate will support implementation efforts through partnership with project delivery and change management teams, including the clear communication of process changes and benefits.
Governance & Measurement
- The candidate will develop and maintain the P&C process optimization playbook, including frameworks, standards, working models, and interaction models with stakeholders such as business process owners.
- The candidate will develop and maintain the P&C process taxonomy and identify corresponding business process owners.
- The candidate will establish process optimization KPIs to measure process efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience impact.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree are considered an asset for this position.
- The candidate must have 8+ years of experience in HR operations, process improvement, or business analysis.
- The candidate must demonstrate proven experience leading teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- The candidate must possess strong knowledge of HR processes and systems/platforms such as Workday.
- The candidate must possess a strong understanding of P&C functional areas and operating models.
- The candidate must have experience with process design or process engineering using tools such as Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, or similar applications.
- The candidate must demonstrate familiarity with automation tools such as RPA and workflow automation platforms.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- The candidate must possess an analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- The candidate must have change management experience in HR transformation programs or initiatives.
- The candidate must possess strong organizational, analytical, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
- The candidate must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to align stakeholders from project team level to executives.
