Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to participate in the conduct of monetary policy, helping promote the safety and efficiency of our financial and payment systems.
- They’re also appointed to conduct policy analysis and brief senior management on matters related to the responsibilities of the functional areas.
- Candidates are also appointed to work in collaboration with colleagues from the Bank on multi-disciplinary projects that may involve functioning in a matrix environment.
- They’re also appointed to collaborate with colleagues within the Bank and from other organizations to develop research ideas, as well as produce and disseminate research.
- They’re also appointed to build relationships with external parties working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a dedicated PhD in economics or finance to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to undertake in-depth and high-quality research projects that are publishable in top-tier, peer-reviewed academic journals
- They must attain dedicated work expertise in macroeconomics and monetary economics, banking and payment systems and digital currencies, digital economy and many others.
- Candidates must attain the ability to make effective, well-structured presentations adapted to the intended audience, inside or outside the Bank.
- They must attain dedicated strong problem-solving skills to be eligible for this post.
