Job Description
- The candidate will work closely with another Scaling Officer to complete scale site inspections, conduct check scales, resolve data anomalies, and support the district’s waste and residue program.
- The candidate will help maintain the integrity of the provincial scaling system by ensuring Crown timber is measured, recorded, and billed accurately and fairly.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a valid Scaler Licence with all required endorsements.
- The candidate must have a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence or an equivalent driver’s licence.
- The candidate must have experience performing scaling operations in a forestry or related environment.
- Preference may be given to applicants with Interior Scaling operational experience.
- The candidate must be located in British Columbia at the time of employment.
