Job Description

  • Retail Pharmacy Student provides practical pharmacy learning experience under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • This is a permanent hourly position with Walmart Canada.
  • The role blends educational activities with day to day pharmacy responsibilities.
  • Students receive guidance and mentorship from an assigned coach.
  • The position supports career preparation within the pharmacy profession.
  • Morning, afternoon, evening and night availability may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss learning goals and objectives with your coach.
  • Ask questions and research pharmacy related information.
  • Learn and follow pharmacy site policies and procedures.
  • Become familiar with program activities and learning objectives.
  • Integrate learning activities into regular job responsibilities.
  • Meet regularly with your coach to receive feedback.
  • Take responsibility for personal learning and development.
  • Complete assigned program activities and educational projects.
  • Participate in OTC scenarios, consultations, clinics and outreach activities.
  • Meet program deadlines and complete required evaluations.

Requirements

  • Must be a pharmacy student.
