Job description
- Install, maintain, repair and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems
- Job involves operating and maintaining low, medium and high voltage switchgear
- Test circuits to ensure safety and reliability
- Maintain water quality analyzers for regulatory needs
- Read and update electrical schematics and loop drawings
- Install and maintain distribution and control equipment
- Use testing tools to diagnose faults and verify system performance
Job requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal or equivalent
- Must qualify for Confined Space Entry certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable record
- Preference for at least 4 years of related
- Journeyperson water or wastewater background
- Industrial maintenance and power generation knowledge preferred
- Instrumentation certification or related courses are an asset
- Must pass security clearance and pre-employment drug test
- Must provide proof of qualifications
