They’re also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prepared medication by checking each prescription and ensuring legal compliance and product quality. This includes weekly strip-packaged medications, compliance packages and all non-packaged products.

Job Description
- Candidates are responsible for checking products in an organized and efficient manner to maintain workflow and ensure delivery routes leave at their scheduled times.
- They’re also required to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality are protected following regulations
- Candidates will also have to keep current with and align with legal requirements, professional standards, and where provided, workplace policies and procedures.
- Candidates will have to ensure the Commitment of promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.
Job requirement
- Candidates must be licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technicians (RPhT), in good standing.
- Candidates must attain the liability of insurance to legally practice as an RPhT.
- They must attain a minimum of 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.
- They must attain experience working with PacMed or PacVision as an asset.
- Candidates must attain effective written and verbal communication skills.
Work setting
- Candidates with experience with high-volume filling environments are preferred.
