Job Description
- The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
- The candidate must work with others to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
- The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, addressing, documenting, and reporting symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
- The candidate must operate or monitor medical equipment or apparatus.
- The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising licenced practical nurses and other nursing staff.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 11 to 15 people.
- The candidate must have a CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and be licenced as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
Work setting
- The candidate must work in a nursing home or home for the elderly.
