Job Description
- The candidate must plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- The candidate must respond to customer complaints or concerns.
- The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service.
- The candidate must load and unload goods.
- The candidate must inspect the vehicle’s condition, including the brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects.
- The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
- The candidate will be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
- The candidate will be responsible for recording cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have an AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement Certification, DZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Certification, and a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

- The candidate must have transportation and travel experience at the local and regional levels.

- The candidate must have service experience in delivery.
