Job Description

  • The candidate must lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery.
  • The candidate will be required to tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons.
  • The candidate must garnish the bottom and back of a seat with interoven rattan.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

  • The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

  • The material is leather.

Type of industry experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience working in a furniture and fixtures manufacturing company, a furniture upholstery and repair shop, or a specialty seat manufacturing company.

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about furniture.
