Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to train or arrange for training.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise workers and projects.
  • The candidate will be required to review and approve all job proofs or samples.
  • The candidate will be required to solve work-related problems.
  • The candidate will be required to recommend measures to increase productivity and product quality.
  • The candidate must devise methods to meet work schedules.
  • The candidate will be expected to coordinate and schedule activities.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide technical and professional advice.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise apprenticeship training.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate should know other languages including Spanish and Castilian.
  • The candidate must have a minimum qualification of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a programme lasting one to two years.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising print machine operators, press operators, and binding and finishing machine operators.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 3-4 people as well as 5-10 people.

Work Setting

  • The candidate will be required to work in in-house printing or binding as well as commercial or in-house printers.
