Job Description

The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and guiding farm animal behaviour.
The candidate will be responsible for disinfecting pens, barns, and poultry houses.
The candidate must be able to handle animals.
The candidate must monitor animal health.
The candidate must organize tasks to complete the work.
The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
The candidate must perform weeding.
The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.

Farm operations include layer poultry farming, organic farming, and poultry and egg production.
The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
The candidate must be able to work in a dusty, wet/damp, and dirty environment.
The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work setting

The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
