Job description
- Candidates will liaise with the local community with respect to Canada Post service and products in the workplace.
- They will sell as well as promote postal products and services to the public and businesses.
- They will administer the post office to meet retail hours of operation as well as delivery expectations.
- Candidates will manage postal revenue, values and assets.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have High School Diploma, or provincial equivalency and/or they must have experience in business administration.
- Candidates must attain experience leading and directing teams.
- They must have experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
Work setting
- Candidates must know about regulations, methods as well as procedures for processing mail and providing postal services.
- If we talk about physical work, they have to be physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb.
- They have to push or pull boxes.
- They are responsible for sorting mail and standing for extended periods of time.
