Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to operate a computer point-of-sale system.
- They’re also required at this post to maintain floor displays and conduct merchandising and inventory control working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are also required to maintain a high level of postal products, services and delivery knowledge working at this post.
- Candidates at this post are appointed to operate mail processing equipment like clearing jams, removing mail from sorting machines, etc working at this post.
- Applicants are also required to transport mail between floors/sections using rolling or motorized equipment, where applicable working at this post.
- Candidates at this post are appointed to operate a computer to key in data and review mail items for address accuracy, proper postage, etc working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates for this post must have prior experience in customer service in a retail environment to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have prior sales experience along with prior experience working in a production environment to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates are required to stand in one place for up to 3.5 hours at a time and process financial transactions like cash, cheques, debit & credit card payments working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are also required to receive, sort, sequence and batch mail items working at this post.
