Job Description
- Receive and process customer prescriptions while following pharmacy regulations.
- Assist the Pharmacist with prescription preparation, and filling.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, and keep stock levels in good shape.
- Organize pharmacy records and take care of clerical work too, in a day-to-day way.
- Place orders for pharmacy supplies and keep inventory sorted.
- Make sure the dispensary and pharmacy equipment stay tidy.
- Sort and file prescriptions, reports, invoices, and other pharmacy paperwork.
- When needed, assist with OTC product stocking and ordering , and also cover cashier related duties.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review prescriptions for completeness, and double check the details.
- Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems.
- Assist in preparing and labeling prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision.
- Perform inventory management including stock replenishment and expiry checks.
- Order pharmacy supplies and organize inventory, so everything stays easy to find.
Requirements
- You should have strong customer service and communication skills.
- You must be comfortable with computer use and data entry.
- Work accurately, with careful attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations is a plus , not required.
- Be able to protect confidentiality and follow all pharmacy rules.
- Show good organization, plus teamwork skills that fit the day to day needs.
