Job Description

• The candidate must solicit sales and sell goods or services.
• The candidate will be responsible for setting up and displaying merchandise on sidewalks, at public events, and in stores.
• The candidate must show and describe goods or services.
• The candidate must solicit donations for charities.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting market surveys.
• The candidate will be responsible for arranging sales demonstration appointments.
• The candidate will be responsible for arranging home sales parties.
• The candidate must deliver goods to customers.
• The candidate must provide information about the advertised products.
• The candidate will be responsible for recording customer orders.
• The candidate will be responsible for contacting potential customers by phone.
• The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is an asset.
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
• The candidate should be reliable.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be familiar with Spreadsheets and the Internet.

Sales experience

• The ideal candidate must have prior sales experience in circumstances such as demonstration stands at malls or stores, direct distribution for home sales/parties, direct distribution for person-to-person (sales), door-to-door sales, exhibits, industrial settings, street vending, telemarketing, trade shows, and wholesalers.
