Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to identify and report on potential environmental issues and sustainability trends that may affect CPC.
- They’re also appointed at this post to assists in the development of reports on program activities for presentation to the Board of Directors and other corporate committees.
- Applicants appointed at this post to assists in research to better enable Canada Post to be a sustainability leader working at this post.
- Candidates who have applied for this post are required to work with advisers and consultants engaged to assist the Corporation in dealing with environmental programs and issues at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants at this post must have completed post-secondary degree in environmental science, sustainability, resource management, data analytics to be eligible for this post.
- They must have 1-3 years of relevant functional experience and 1 or more years of experience in a large and complex organization to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have dedicated experience working with or within corporate ESG Sustainability programs to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants at this post must ensure prior familiarity with sustainable packaging, waste management, resource conservation and reuse systems to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have proficient computer skills and be highly competent with Microsoft Office programs to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants at this post are required to perform research, prepare and distribute internally and externally regular updates on corporate environmental initiatives at this post.
- Applicants at this post are required to coordinate and maintain meetings for senior management to keep them up to date on ESG issues in Canada to get preferred for the post.
