Job Description
- Candidates at this post are required to work under the general supervision of the Manager of Patient Care working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are required to deliver independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
- They must have a prior leadership role within the healthcare team, and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are also required to ensure the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must have successful completion of WRHA Emergency Nursing Orientation training Level 1 within 2 months of the date of hire with the remaining levels 2 and 3 completed within 12 months of hire to be eligible for this post.
- They must have graduated from an approved Registered Nursing education program to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must be responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba to get preferred for this post.
- Candidates must ensure active participation in professional associations to get preferred for this post.
- Candidates must have appropriate Canadian Nurses Association certification for the program area to be preferred for this post.
- They must have dedicated knowledge of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses to be preferred for this post.
- They must have prior knowledge of the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses to get preferred for this post.
