Job Description
- The candidate must estimate repair costs.
- The candidate must inspect and test engines in order to diagnose and isolate faults.
- The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system components.
- The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance and service.
- The candidate must advise customers on the work performed and the condition of the equipment.
- The candidate must review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
- The candidate must test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification as well as a Motorcycle Mechanic Red Seal Certificate.
Experience and specialization
Area of specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in the repair of motorcycles, snowmobiles, watercraft, and all terrain vehicles (ATV).

Security and safety
- The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check as well as a driving record check (abstract).
Transportation/travel information
- The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
Own tools/equipment
- The candidate must have their own tools and safety glasses/goggles.
