Job Description

  • The candidate must use RBC Dominion Securities’ strong brand and reputation to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners while managing their complex financial needs.
  • The candidate must use RBC’s wide range of investment and wealth management resources to design tailored portfolios and wealth plans.
  • The candidate must build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships, including multi-generational clients, by providing personalized service.
  • The candidate will establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners, including Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance, to support clients in all aspects of their financial lives.
  • The candidate must have strong people and problem-solving skills that help build and maintain client relationships.
  • The candidate will be required to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership of their day.
  • The candidate must be driven to do meaningful work to help people reach their life goals by providing strong planning and financial advice.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate will be required to have 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and be comfortable working on 100% commission.
  • The candidate should have completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE), or be able to complete them prior to the start date.
  • The candidate must be passionate about financial planning and genuinely interested in portfolio management.
  • The candidate must have a background in direct marketing within financial services and show success in high value sales and business growth, regardless of discipline.
  • The candidate will be expected to build strong relationships and connect with individuals from different backgrounds.
  • The candidate must hold recognized certifications in Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
