Mobile Tire Technician

A Mobile Tire Technician helps keep Tesla vehicles road ready by handling tire related service work and basic vehicle inspections across the region. This position combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction and regular travel to different service locations.

The role is for someone who enjoys working independently and solving mechanical problems on the field itself. You will use many tools and support service teams. As a result you will help maintain Tesla’s high standards for customer service. Tesla is known for building innovative electric vehicles and supporting employees with training, growth and modern tools.

Job Description

  • Mobile Tire Technician supports tire service, inspections and vehicle maintenance for Tesla vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, repairs and service work on Tesla electric vehicles.
  • Use hand tools and power tools at the shop.
  • Complete equipment inspections, adjustments and certification activities.
  • Maintain records of labour time, materials, expenses and vehicle condition.
  • Assist Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centres when required.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Have knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods and techniques.
  • Trade school training or ASE related credentials are preferred.
  • Possess hands on work background mounting, balancing and repairing tires.
  • Show strong verbal and written interaction skills.
  • Can adapt quickly to new systems, processes and changing work demands.
  • Be comfortable operating large service vehicles including tow trucks and trailers.
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and be willing to obtain DOT certification.
