The role is for someone who enjoys working independently and solving mechanical problems on the field itself. You will use many tools and support service teams. Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs and service work on Tesla electric vehicles.
- Use hand tools and power tools at the shop.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments and certification activities.
- Maintain records of labour time, materials, expenses and vehicle condition.
- Assist Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centres when required.
- Travel throughout the assigned region on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Have knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods and techniques.
- Trade school training or ASE related credentials are preferred.
- Possess hands on work background mounting, balancing and repairing tires.
- Show strong verbal and written interaction skills.
- Can adapt quickly to new systems, processes and changing work demands.
- Be comfortable operating large service vehicles including tow trucks and trailers.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and be willing to obtain DOT certification.
