Job description
- All candidates will be responsible for working cooperatively within a practice group of midwives.
- They will provide equitable on-call coverage.
- Candidates have to experience working with multicultural and disadvantaged populations.
- They have to enhance competency and midwifery services.
- They are not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
Job requirement
- Candidates must hold Graduate of an educational program approved by the College of Midwives of Manitoba.
- They are also requested to own or have access to a dependable vehicle that is available for use at all times.
- They also must have the ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- All candidates must be eligible for Registration with the College of Midwives of Manitoba as a practicing midwife, supervised candidate or exam candidate.
Work setting
- All candidates must have a security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
- They are also required to have any service charges incurred.
- Candidates must hold services provided in accordance with the Midwifery Model of Practice and the Standards of the College of Midwives of Manitoba.
