Job description

  • The candidate will be required to sort metal sheets.
  • The candidate will be required to sort metal parts.
  • The candidate will be required to sort and organize scrap metal and other materials.
  • The candidate will be required to operate metal cleaning equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to remove excess welds from surfaces of metal products.
  • The candidate will be required to remove rust from surfaces of metal products.
  • The candidate will be required to remove scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
  • The candidate will be required to clean machines.
  • The candidate will be required to clean immediate work areas.
  • The candidate will be required to assist structural steel fitters.
  • The candidate will be required to assist plate work fitters.
  • The candidate will be required to assist sheet metal workers.
  • The candidate will be required to assist metal machine operators or other metal workers.
  • The candidate will be required to grind excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • The candidate will be required to chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • The candidate will be required to read work orders.
  • The candidate will be required to interpret work orders.
  • The candidate will be required to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The work setting is a metal products manufacturing company.

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate or diploma is required for the candidate to apply for this job.
