Job Description 

• Candidates working at this post are required to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. 
• They’re also appointed at this post to perform mechanical and plumbing tasks to maintain the operation of equipment. 
• They’re appointed at this post to be available on call to maintain operations working at this post. 
• They’re also responsible for the proper functioning of the wastewater treatment system working at this post. 
• Candidates working in this post are required to maintain daily records of operational activities, safety and maintenance activities and write reports concerning the operation of equipment. 
• They’re appointed at this post to perform any other related tasks that may fall under this job working at this post. 

Job requirement 

• They must be able to ensure that their actions in their role support the manufacturing of products with the quality and food safety criteria defined by the company. 
• Candidates who applied for this post must have designation or experience in DEP Industrial Mechanics or Plumbing to be eligible for this post. 
• They must possess a qualification certificate in machine mechanics and a dedicated knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance planning software, Internal to be eligible for this post. 
• Candidates must have prior experience in the food industry with the ability to perform manual tasks to be eligible for this post. 
• They must have a dedicated ability to perform physical efforts and acquire prior knowledge of WHMIS and the ability to work with chemicals. 

Work setting 

• Candidates must ensure compliance with the requirements of the SQF food safety code and report any food safety problems to personnel authorized to intervene.
