Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining the line plan for assigned product categories, including franchise management and product lifecycle management, while delivering to target and ensuring profitable assortments achieve IMU and cost goals to meet and exceed targets.
  • The candidate will participate in creating a team culture of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action while building a strong sense of belonging for all team members.
  • The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing insights from the global competitive landscape, regional teams, and cross-functional partners across all channels to support pre-season planning, hindsight, and global guest insights through reporting and testing.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing colour and concept strategy, execution, and seasonal flow to ensure cohesive assortments across Seasonal and Core offers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting the global product visual flow while communicating quarterly seasonal assortment strategies to all regional partners.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supporting global storytelling initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams across assigned product categories.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data maintained in systems and tools.
  • The candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring regional selling results and collaborating with regional teams to evaluate global product and financial performance.
  • The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with key cross-functional partners during POD meetings, fittings, risk reviews, opacity reviews, and other forums to ensure product commercialization supports the global merchandising direction.
  • The candidate must collaborate with the Global Planning team to supply unit and style volume information for global forecasting.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a BA, BSc, BBA, BComm, or an equivalent bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate must have a specialization in Retail or Merchandising Management, which will be considered an advantage.
  • The candidate with retail experience will be preferred, while merchandising experience will be considered an added advantage.
  • The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of retail math.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a keen eye for product.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally and work on the retail floor as required.
  • The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
  • The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously seek innovative ways to achieve strong results.
