Job Description
- Candidates will have to transport the product to destinations throughout the United States
- They’ll have to complete meat inspections when required.
- Candidates will have to pick up produce loads to return to distribution centres.
- They’re appointed to provide proper documentation to dispatch and at border crossing
- They’re appointed to follow required Hours of Service as a Canadian and American legislation.
Job requirement
- Candidate must attain a minimum 1 year of verifiable experience with 53’ trailers
- Candidate must attain prior experience with Reefer units an asset
- Candidate must be eligible for entry to the US (Canadian citizen with a valid passport, permanent resident with valid PR card and/or passport from a location that participates in the Visa Waiver program & completion of COVID vaccination)
- They must come with the ability to utilize technology for sharing documentation.
- Applicants will be required to pass a criminal background check and a drug and alcohol test in compliance with DOT requirements.
Work setting
- Candidates must be more than 18 years of age to be eligible for this post.
