Job Description
- This position is mostly about supporting business and technology transformation work by looking at current business processes, collecting and writing down requirements, helping run stakeholder workshops and assisting with the roll out of enterprise tech solutions.
- You’ll partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to improve operational efficiency and redesign workflows, then also help build business documentation.
- You’ll be supporting the successful delivery of large scale digital transformation projects, basically.
Responsibilities
- Help with stakeholder workshops, plus run those business process modeling sessions in parallel sometimes, depending on the schedule.
- You will support enterprise system deployment and business transformation initiatives.
- Build up process documentation, write user manuals, and prepare training materials.
- Draft reports and recommendations, for project managers and senior leadership, without over complicating it.
- Run the financial analysis, then define and track performance indicators. Finally, develop and execute test plans, plus support user acceptance testing, UAT.
Requirements
- Some post-secondary education in Computer Science, or something adjacent, if you did that, or equivalent experience that counts.
- You’ve supported large-scale enterprise applications before, not just once in a while.
- You should know business process modelling and workflow analysis pretty well.
- You’ve worked with Microsoft Office, Visio, JIRA, SharePoint, and project management tools, ideally all of them.
- You can juggle several projects at once, and still work on your own or inside cross-functional teams, without issues.
- Experience with IBM Maximo, government projects, geospatial systems, or having a CBAP certification is a definite asset.
