Job Description

Candidates are responsible for performing a wide range of duties expected of a Truck and Coach Technician.
They’re also appointed to work in the transit fleet and facilities maintenance team.
Candidates are appointed to perform all unit changes or repairs to Fleet vehicles.
They’re also appointed to handle the miscellaneous adjustments to doors, destination signs and other vehicle systems.

Job requirement

They must complete a pre-employment ergonomic assessment to be eligible for this post.
They must have to work independently, with minimal direction, and collaboratively with peers and managers as part of a maintenance repair team.
Candidates must be able to read, understand and interpret service manuals, schematics, drawings, and work orders.
They must have to operate within a computerized Fleet Management Information System.
Candidates must attain the ability and facility to use tools and equipment with precision.

Work setting

They must have to plan work and make estimates of materials and time required to perform the work.

Candidates must ensure to perform safety inspections on buses and vehicles.
