Job Description
- Candidates will have to start the day in the depot by sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries.
- Candidates will also have to load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle.
- Candidates will also spend most of the day outside, delivering mail packages and providing customer services.
- Candidates will have to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Candidates must be physically able to lift mail items of around 50 lbs.
- Candidates must be able to work in all types of weather.
- Candidates must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French language.
Work setting
- Candidates with experience in customer service are preferred for this post.
