Job Description
- The candidate must operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.
- The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- The candidate must clean and maintain the workspace.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a Registered Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must hold a Machinist Trade Certification.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.

- The candidate must work in manufacturing industry to operate machinery, assemble products, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience with equipment and machinery, including cylinder grinders, engine lathes, honing machines, milling machines, tool grinders, and lathes.
Area of work experience
- The candidate must have work experience in fabrication.
Repetitive machining operation experience
- The candidate must have experience in repetitive machining operations, including turning, milling, honing, broaching, drilling, and grinding.
Equipment
- The candidate must have experience operating equipment, including single-purpose production machines and automatic lathes.
