Job Description
- The candidate must apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products.
- The candidate must apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions.
- The candidate must plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other purposes.
- The candidate must plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
- The candidate must plant and move trees.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- The candidate must be willing to work in hazardous conditions.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting
- The candidate must work for a construction company and a lawn care company.
- The employee should be able to work in the employer’s/client’s home, have the ability to work at various site locations, and the specific period of progression is the annual review.
- The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
- The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
- The candidate should work as a landscape contractor to create and construct large and small projects for residential and commercial properties.
Experience and specialization
Landscaping experience
- The candidate must have landscaping experience in residential projects as well as commercial/industrial construction.
Construction specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in the construction of automated irrigation systems, fieldstone paths, poured concrete, retaining walls, and stone garden walls.
Area of specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in landscape construction.
Additional information
Transportation/travel information
- The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

- The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
- The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
- The candidate must perform manual dexterity tasks.
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours in sitting, standing, and walking positions.
- The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

- The candidate must have steel-toed safety boots and gloves.
