Job Description
- The candidate must survey and evaluate designated sites.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in French language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate must be punctual.
Work site environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting
- The employee should be able to work in the employer’s/client’s home, have the ability to work at various site locations, and the specific period of progression is the annual review.
- The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
- The candidate should work as a landscape contractor to create and construct large and small projects for residential and commercial properties.
Experience and specialization
Landscaping experience
- The candidate must have landscaping experience in residential projects, restoration and preservation projects.
Construction specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in the construction of fieldstone paths, interlocking brick, ornamental ponds, fountains, and waterfalls, poured concrete, retaining walls, rock gardens and stone garden walls.
Specialization or experience
- The candidate must be knowledgeable about the green economy sector.
Area of specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in landscape design and landscape construction.

Security and safety
- The candidate should undergo a thorough driving record check (abstract) and criminal background check.

- The candidate should have an eye for details.
- The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
- The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
- The candidate must perform manual dexterity tasks.
- The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
- The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
