The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Seasonal employment or Full time job. Job Description

The candidate will be expected to assist with landscape construction.
The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
The candidate must cut grass.
The candidate will be expected to rake and collect trash.
The candidate will be expected to clean up litter and garbage.
The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
The candidate must lay sod or seed.
The candidate will be expected to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
The candidate will be expected to repair and maintain equipment.
The candidate will be required to write basic progress reports on a daily basis.
The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate should be dependable.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate must be flexible.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
The candidate must be able to work at heights.
The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty and hot conditions.
The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work setting

The candidate must work on a golf course, a sports field, a cemetery or crematorium and parks and recreation areas.
The candidate must work as a landscape contractor.
The candidate must be willing to work in a remote location.
The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
Workplace will involve maintaining the landscape.

The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check as well as a driver’s licence validity check.

The candidate must have their own transportation.
The candidate does not have access to public transportation.
