Job Description

The candidate must assist with landscape construction.
The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
The candidate must cut grass.
The candidate must rake and collect trash.
The candidate must remove garbage and litter.
The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
The candidate must lay sod or seed.
The candidate must plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
The candidate must apply fertilizers.
The candidate must be able to maintain and repair equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for watering and maintaining plants, lawns, and/or gardens.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
Candidate having experience is an asset.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

The candidate must have experience operating chainsaws, gravel or dump trucks, pickup trucks, rototillers, small engine equipment, tractor mowers, and weed trimmers/edgers.

The candidate should undergo a thorough driver’s license validity check and driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/travel information

The candidate must have their own transportation.
Employer will provide the vehicle.
The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
