Job Description

• The candidate must interpret blueprints or other instructions in order to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must manage landscaping projects.
• The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other purposes.
• The candidate must plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
• The candidate must plant and move trees.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• The candidate will be responsible for coordinating work activities with other project supervisors or managers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate should work as a landscape contractor to create and construct large and small projects for residential and commercial properties.

Experience and specialization

Area of work experience

• The candidate must have work experience in the area of landscaping.

Construction specialization

• The candidate must be skilled in the construction of fieldstone paths, interlocking bricks, poured concrete, retaining walls, rock gardens, stone garden walls, and irrigation and drainage systems.

Area of specialization

• The candidate must be familiar with landscape construction, as well as plant knowledge and identification.
