Job Description

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about food safety and handling.
  • The candidate must transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
  • The candidate must remove filled containers from the conveyors.
  • The candidate will be responsible for feeding and unloading processing machines.
  • The candidate must assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • The candidate must clean the machines and the immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate must be flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

  • The candidate must work in wet/damp environments.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
  • The candidate must work in a food and beverage plant.
