Job Description

  • Investment Advisor on the Wealth Management platform will employ the commission-based model of providing wealth management services.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and develop and implement tailored Wealth Management Solutions to meet clients’ individual needs.
  • These Advisors operate independently but are provided with support from RBCโ€™s brand, resources, and partnerships.
  • This is a collaborative team sports setting and is focused on providing career development, mentorship, and leadership to all team members.
  • The position is a 37.5 hour Full Time work week (Monday through Friday).
  • This position will be located and operate out of Newmarket, Ontario; however, depending on the practice, business and client base, flexible work options may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sustainable advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners.
  • Create tailored investment portfolio solutions and wealth management strategies for clients.
  • Utilise the resources and brand of Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities to identify and attract new client relationships.
  • Deliver advice and guidance to help clients achieve their long-term financial aspirations.
  • Develop multi-generational relationships with clients through a commitment to building trust.

Requirements

  • Sales experience of at least four to six years, includes a commission-based sales commission basis.
  • Must have completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or willing to complete the Canadian Securities Course prior to starting work.
  • Strong interest in financial planning and Portfolio Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective engagement and engagement.
  • Experience working in Financial Services.
  • Direct marketing or selling products with a High-value will also be viewed positively.
  • CPH, PFP, CIM or CFA credentials will be considered.
