Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to provide personal care.
  • The candidate will be required to provide companionship.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must be able to mend clothing and linens.
  • The candidate will be expected to launder clothing and household linens.
  • The candidate must accept full responsibility for the household (in absence of householder).
  • The candidate will be required to provide bedside and personal care.
  • The candidate will be required to feed or assist in feeding.
  • The candidate will be required to administer medications.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be punctual.
  • The candidate must be able to lift weights ranging from 61 to 80 kg (133-176 lbs).

Experience with Special Needs Children

  • The candidate will be expected to help with mobility.

Security and Safety

  • The candidate should provide a valid Reference details.

Work Site Environment

  • Work places are completely smoke free.

Transportation/Travel Information

  • The candidate should be willing to travel regularly.
  • Public transportation is available for the candidate to use.
