Job Description

• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
• The candidate will be responsible for requesting or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, labourers in food, beverage, and tobacco processing, as well as process control and machine operators in food and beverage processing.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible.
• The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
• The candidate should be reliable.

Work site environment

• The candidate must work in a dusty environment.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in a flour mill and a food and/or beverage processing factory.

• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
