Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, or arranging training for cleaning staff.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of employees.
• The candidate must inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• The candidate must assist cleaners in performing duties.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities with other departments.
• The candidate must prepare reports.
• The candidate must manage staff and assign duties.
• The candidate must operate cleaning machines.
• The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the French language.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
• The candidate must supervise janitors, caretakers, building superintendents, light-duty cleaners, specialized cleaners, and working groups.
• The candidate must have an Aerial Lift and Aerial Work Platform Certification, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Forklift Operator Certification, First Aid Certificate, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, and Working at Heights training Certification.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be willing to work in hazardous conditions.
• The candidate must be able to clean carpets and rugs.

• The candidate should work in an office building; quality workspace design leads to a less stressful and more productive atmosphere.
• The candidate should work in a cleaning service company to create a clean and hygienic environment.
• The candidate must work in an industrial plant or public sector setting.
• The candidate should work in the private sector in any office or work area that is not open to the public in the ordinary course of business except by individual invitation.
• The candidate must be responsible for equipment operation.
• The candidate should work in commercial buildings where commercial activities occur, including office buildings, retail space, warehouses, etc.
