Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to read and understand various schematic diagrams for maintenance troubleshooting and be proficient with computers and diagnostic tools.

Job requirement
- Applicants must attain a high school diploma and must have a valid Automotive Service Technician or commercial Transport Mechanic to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants with an Interprovincial red seal are preferred for this post.
- Candidates for this post must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade and must be able to successfully pass the pre-employment qualifying exam to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants for this post must have to conduct safety-critical work and as such.
- Applicants applying for this post must ensure that Air Canada medical standards are met to qualify for the role preferred for this post.
- They must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have advanced Fuel Injection & Diesel Engine Tune-Up certificates to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have prior air conditioning and refrigeration certificates along with Propane Fuel Systems certificates are considered an asset for this post.
- Candidates must have automotive Inspection licenses to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants for this post must have previous experience maintaining mobile ground power, air conditioners, and air start units to be eligible for this post.
