Job Description
- The candidate must consult with clients to determine the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
- The candidate must determine the best medium for producing the desired visual effect as well as the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
- The candidate will be expected to create graphic elements that meet the objectives of the clients.
- The candidate must prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
- The candidate must use existing photo and illustration banks, as well as typography guides.
- The candidate must develop guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
- The candidate will be expected to coordinate all aspects of print, audio-visual, or electronic production.
- The candidate will be required to estimate the costs of materials and the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations.
- The candidate will be required to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a college or CEGEP diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication.
- The candidate should be client focused.
Business Equipment and Computer Applications
- The candidate should be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Suite.
