Job Description
- Technical Analyst Advisory (Capital Markets Technology) supports business and technology teams to deliver capital markets solutions.
- This is a hybrid position based in Toronto.
- The role is part of the Global Banking and Markets Engineering team.
- It includes project planning, technical solution delivery and production support.
- The position offers exposure to large scale banking technology projects.
- The role focuses on building reliable solutions that support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Review business functions and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare complete and detailed business requirement documents.
- Take part in project planning, progress reviews and financial reviews.
- Work with technology teams through every stage of the system development lifecycle.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across global regions.
- Support production issues and manage release cycle escalations.
- Complete additional assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Work background of 4+ years in capital markets technology is required.
- Show a solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes including booking, corporate actions, rate resets and cashflows.
- Can translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive solutions through completion.
- Work background of 3+ years with SQL Server or a similar relational database management system is required, including creating and running advanced queries independently.
